About Brewers Basketball
Established in 2011, the club has won multiple local league championships and in 2018 became the first team in history to achieve the Welsh Grand Slam, winning the North Wales Basketball Association triple crown of league, playoff and cup titles before claiming the Welsh National Championship – the Terry Price Cup – in an unbeaten season.
But we are more than that. If you love basketball, you are already on your way to becoming a Brewer. We are open to anyone who wants to play the game, whether for fun or competitively. We play hard but we enjoy a laugh and if you’re one of us, you’re part of the Brewers Nation!
Once Britain’s only pub basketball team, the Brewers have played in the Wirral League and since 2016 have played in the North Wales League, winning the Welsh Grand Slam in an unbeaten season in 2018. They currently train at Blacon High School and Ellesmere Port Catholic High School, with home games at Blacon.
