Cheshire Brewers returned to form to start 2017 with a bang, defeating Deeside Dragons 78-59.

Bouncing back from a disappointing end to 2016, the Brewers fired a warning to the league that their title ambitions were alive and well.

Pete Arden and Head Coach Tom Griffiths led the Brewers scorers, each bagging 14 points, but it was Michael Embaye who claimed the MVP nomination for hos performance.

The game’s top scorer was Dragons MVP Alan Duppa, who put up 17 points.
