These sides met at Ellesmere Port Catholic High in the post season with the Brewers looking to settle a score.

The Warriors had beaten them in the regular season meeting at Cathy High – the first team in two years to beat the Brewers on home turf – so Tom Griffiths’ men came out looking to make amends and secure their first ever North Wales League Playoff final berth.

The Brewers started at a blistering pace and immediately put the Warriors on the back foot. Led by the experienced heads of Steve Flanagan, Pete Arden and Mike Embaye the Brewers got into the visitors and refused to let up.

Flanagan ended the game as MVP along with Chris Alimi for the Warriors. The Brewers now go on to the finals weekend in Mold.
